Guitar Hero wraca po 5 latach przerwy

Był taki czas, gdy Activision nie żyło tylko z Blizzarda i Call of Duty. Wtedy równie potężnym zastrzykiem finansowym dla korporacji była niepozorna gra o gitarkach, która brała szturmem serca graczy i audiofilów pod każdą szerokością geograficzną. Niesamowite, że w ciągu 5 lat formuła Guitar Hero zdążyła tak się wypalić, by po kolejnych pięciu doczekać się nowej odsłony.

W międzyczasie miejsce GH zajęło Rocksmith wspierane przez Ubisoft. Miast plastykowego wiosła do konsoli zaczęto podpinać prawdziwe instrumenty. Powrót niedawnego hegemona traktować więc można jako… ożywczy. Choć w sumie nie do końca – Harmonix, czyli praojcowie Guitar Hero wydali niedawno kolejną część Rock Banda.

Za Guitar Hero Live odpowiada FreeStyleGames. W swoim portfolio mają odprysk serii, czyli ciepło przyjęto swego czasu DJ Hero. Przesiadka z konsoletek na wiosełka jawi się dużo bardziej profesjonalnie. Choć wciąż nie jest to realizm Rocksmitha, to przesunięto dość znacznie nacisk na „profesjonalność”. Zamiast 5 klawiszowego tapowania, gitarka wyposażona jest w dwa 3-przyciskowe rzędy, które mają przybliżać granie na prawdziwym Flying V. Jeśli kogoś to przerasta, proszę bardzo, może grać tylko na jednym rządku i dopiero z czasem grać na maksa. Co ciekawe, tym razem GH to rasowy… FPP. Patrzymy z oczu gitarzysty na nagrane kamerą w reakcje aktorów. Daje to zupełnie inne odczucia niż komiksowo przerysowane mordy Santany i Tylera z poprzednich części.

Najważniejsza jest jednak ścieżka dźwiękowa. Mamy rock i wszelkie jego odcienie, choć zawiodą się wszyscy liczący na odgrywanie kawałków z zakupionych wcześniej części. Zamiast tego dostaniemy GHTV, czyli możliwość odgrywania kawałków artystów z ich teledyskiem w tle. Lepszy cyc niż nic.
